People of every age, on their motorbikes on the roads, on small streets, behind you, in front of you, sometimes almost on you!
The traffic is such a chaotic one. You set your own rules by making stop signs with your hands!
There are no traffic lights even in the busiest junctions! Never trust them even if there is one!
One other thing not to trust is the flow of traffic! You may end up face to face with a bike on your right, while the flow is on left
The number of loses in one and every single day is 30! The latest statistics tell us that the motorbike population is 70millions.
The dominant vehicle in traffic is the motorbike! The cars are in accordance with them, they do not exceed 60km/h.
Motorbike taxis, and tuctucs are common!
The traffic flows on right!
The horn means "I'm coming", and you hear them everywhere in the city, whether when necessary or not.
Once you stay for a while, you get used to with the rules, and you start to horn too!
The life goes on the streets! Eating, drinking, entertainment, cafes, all is on small plastic stools!
No hawkers jumping on you and bothering you!
There are plenty of cafes, and you can find Wi-fi connection in most of them!
The bargaining tactic is to pretend to back out of it. This way they give you the discount!
It's almost impossible to find soap in toilets, unless you are in a luxurious place. This is why keep it mind to have cleansing tissues and hygienic gels with you!
You will realize the French colony effect on architecture and bread. The new buildings lack the style and are ordinary looking, whereas the old ones are quite aesthetic!
They use the Latin alphabet!
Tourism offices offer you bundled tours, so it is not quite possible to find information to plan your personal trips. Never buy these tours on the internet, prices there are too high!

Kötü insanlar değiller, yalan söylemeyebilirler ama herşeyi de söylemedikleri kesin! Bu da güvensiz ve tedirgin hissettiriyor! Acaba şimdi nasıl bir süprizle karşılaşıcam diyorsun!
Ama sokaklarda hiç güvensiz hissetmiyorsun!
Kadınlar, çoğunlukla ince bedenli, orta boylu, buğday tenli, geniş elmacık kemikli...kaşlarının hepsini aldırmış ve çizdirmiş!
Yol verme, dokunmadan geçme gibi alışkanlıkları yok!
Tükürmek nefes almak kadar normal!
Vietnamdaki en rahatsız edici şey, 70 yaşındaki batılı dedelerin elini tutan küçük Vietnam kızları!
PEOPLE
I have confused feelings about Vietnamese people!
They are not bad people! We have not seen many that lies, however there is always this lack of complete information. This makes you feel anxious and on the jump. You cannot stop thinking about the next possible surprise.
You never feel unsafe on the streets though!
Women are mostly thin, middle height, brown and with wide malar bones. Eyebrows are removed and drawn!
They have no habit as giving the way to the privileged party, or passing through without touching!
Spitting is as normal as taking a breathe!
The most disturbing thing is seeing the very young Vietnamese girls hand in hand with 70 year old western daddies!
YEMEK

Hijyen açısından gidecek yolları var ama bu kısmını takmazsanız harika yemekler sizi bekliyor!
Salaş, sokağa atılmış tabureleri ile hizmet veren restoranlarından hangisine gitmeniz gerektiğini bilmezseniz, bir tanesini seçip girmeniz zor olabilir! Çünkü görünümde sizi cezbetmeyeceklerdir!

Golden Rule! Never check the kitchen!!
They have a long way to go in terms of hygiene, however if you put this aside get ready to taste amazing food!
If you do not know which of the shed-like eatries to enter, choosing one may not be easy, because these stool style places are far from visually attracting you.
Bun bo nam bo, cat fish, bun cha, xeo, pho, tofu, fresh/fried spring roll, bbq seafood, desserts with coconut and banana, desserts with wheat, jelly and fruit (che), and lots of other choices with forgotten names!
